Kitchen: work from the living area toward the pipes

The route to follow: paired switches in the living area → Grapple and paired levers → kitchen-side tracks → the path under the sink → steam crossing → synchronization airlock.

The overall Kitchen route adapts the community Kitchen walkthrough. We also checked selected action and objective frames in whatthevic's separate Kitchen recording; the specific matches are listed below.

  1. Use the first paired switches to establish your rhythm. From the arrival area, take the ramp toward the shelf switches. Put one car at each switch and agree on a countdown. Continue toward the living area and the highlighted couch objective; avoid splitting into unrelated searches while a two-car action is waiting.
  2. Finish the couch objective, then look for the Grapple branch. Reach the two highlighted positions and activate the switches together. The community route places the Grapple on the left branch after this section. Follow the acquisition prompt on each car, then check the aiming and firing instructions before trying the next gap.
  3. Attach to separate levers and reverse together. Confirm that both ropes have a handle before either player pulls. Drive backward on the same countdown. The reported result is that the obstacle ahead switches off and the route continues across a Grapple gap. Look for that change before detaching and leaving your partner behind.
  4. Cross to the next paired buttons. Identify the receiving platform, attach to its intended anchor, build the swing, and release toward the landing. Regroup at the next pair of switches. The community route then moves to the kitchen side and its winding tracks.
  5. Complete the tracks and follow the route beneath the sink. Collect the reachable Neuro-Cores as you progress. Under the sink, use the pipes above the green liquid; the community guide identifies that liquid as a hazard. Work to the far-end buttons, then use the Grapple route toward the higher button pair on the other side.

Keep optional stops separate from the main objective

The living area includes the Tag mini-game, and the community route also points out scans and a memory card near the kitchen machinery. Decide whether to stop for those together. A story pickup does not replace the paired switches or traversal task your partner is waiting to finish.

“Let the Sink In”: shoot the vent's button, then follow the next prompt

If your objective mentions the Purple Radio and a vent grate, look above the grate for the circular target. At 3:30 in whatthevic's Kitchen recording, the visible instruction tells the player to hit that button with the Grapple to open the vent.

  1. Aim at the circular button above the grate. The target is the button, not the metal slats below it. Use the aiming prompt shown for your input device and fire the Grapple.
  2. Check for access through the grate and bring both cars through. At 3:39, the two cars are inside the ventilation passage.
  3. Read the updated job. The visible Purple Radio objective now asks for simultaneous Grapple pulls on the levers. Locate one handle per car and coordinate the pull rather than continuing to fire at the previous button.

These two frames verify the target instruction and subsequent position/objective. They do not show every intervening action or establish a complete solution to both radio branches.

Kitchen steam crossing: let one car through, then return the favor

Player A: open the crossing

Take the button that controls the steam and tell your partner when the path is clear. Wait for them to reach the safe side before trying to follow.

Player B: reach the return control

Cross while the steam is stopped, use the upper Grapple route, and find the button that clears your partner's blocked vent. Call out the opening so Player A can join you.

The community steam section then places both cars at the local capacitor. Pull its lever together and follow the professor's next objective. Continue collecting if the game still asks for more cores; this guide does not supply an invented minimum count.

Finish at the synchronization airlock

When directed to the airlock, bring both cars inside and allow the synchronization to complete. At 11:15 in the Kitchen recording, the cars approach a metal vent under red and blue cables, and the professor identifies the synchronization airlock. The community route describes the next door opening after synchronization; follow the resulting objective marker to continue.

If progress has stopped: check the specific remaining condition—your partner still on the other side, a button pair unfinished, a track not completed, or the game explicitly asking for more cores. Repeating the last jump will not finish a different outstanding objective.

Hallway: the lift rider calls the position

The Hallway is the room with tall bookshelves and a lift cart on rails. Give one player the rider role and the other the operator role. The rider watches the landing and target; the operator works the cart's movement and height controls.

A / RIDER

A

Watch the target and landing.
Call “forward,” “raise” or “stop.”

B / OPERATOR

B

Adjust movement and height.
Wait for the rider's ready call.

Our role diagram, not a map or game screenshot. The real buttons are attached to the cart; their placement is simplified here.
  1. Board before moving beyond the rider's reach. Bring the cart within jumping distance, let the rider get on, then move it toward the shelf target. In the recording, the players have to bring it back when their first positioning attempt fails. Start with the first lift attempt at 8:21 ↗
  2. Use height as well as forward movement. The players adjust a side control to lift the rider, then the rider reaches a target that opens the route. Do not assume “closer” always means farther along the rail: ask whether the target is also too high or too low. Positioning and side control at 10:15 ↗
  3. Open a route for the operator. Once the rider reaches the upper route, look for its button before continuing alone. At the first clear example, the players announce that the air vent is now open for the other car. Raised approach and vent access at 13:53–14:16 ↗
  4. Work through the next paired-button route together. Check the opened cabinet and the routes branching from it. The recorded pair move through the passages and regroup at another two-button mechanism. Keep reporting which opening changed so the other car can reach you. Cabinet route from 15:33 ↗

Hallway timestamps locate the creator's attempt, including retries and optional detours. The route combines the time-coded transcript with the community Hallway guide. We separately checked the car on the raised lift at 21:19, the staircase position at 21:46, and the earlier reviewed ×2 lever frames. Other linked passages are transcript-based navigation, not a continuous visual review.

Move the cart forward, open the staircase route, then regroup

  1. Return the rider to the cart through the opened vent. In the recorded route, the rider boards again and asks the operator to lower the platform before traveling forward. Make sure the rider is aboard and the cart clears the obstruction. Reboarding and lowering at 19:23–20:06 ↗
  2. Stop at the blue square and raise the rider. The rider calls for the cart to continue to the blue square, then asks to be raised. From the upper position, take the staircase-side route and operate its lever. The recorded result gives the second car a way up. Blue marker to staircase access at 20:59–21:58 ↗
  3. Trade button duty through the vent section. One player opens the passage for the other, then the arriving player operates the next button so the first can follow. Stay at the useful control until your partner says they are through. The exchange at 23:01–24:10 ↗
  4. Take one handle each at the ×2 panel. Attach both ropes, count down, and reverse together. The two handles finish down and the upper indicator lights green. See the illustrated lever solution or watch 25:08–25:23 ↗.
  5. Revisit the steam-blocked route near the first vent. After the lever activation, the pair return to the early vent and take the passage they previously could not enter. Another coordinated pull follows there. Match the opened route in your game before moving the lift onward. Return route from 26:12; second pull around 27:02 ↗

Cart not moving? The community Hallway guide describes the raised cart obstructing its own route. Try lowering it enough to clear the obstruction, then moving forward again. That is a positioning check for this puzzle, not a general fix for a frozen game.

Get both cars to the final handles

Bring the rider forward on the lift and adjust the platform to the final ledge. The second car also needs to reach the upper area; in the recording the players revisit the staircase route instead of trying to ride together.

  1. Agree on who uses the cart and who climbs. The operator positions and raises the rider, then finds their own route up. Final positioning from 32:13 ↗
  2. Use a jump-and-Grapple approach for the out-of-reach handle. The recorded pair discuss jumping from the stairs and catching the other handle in the air; several attempts follow. Watch the approach and attachment before copying the jump. Final handle attempts from 33:22 ↗
  3. Check the resulting opening and continue to the new objective. The successful attempt is followed by a glowing rift, which the players describe as a break in reality. Result around 34:06–34:28 ↗

This recording ends at that result. It does not establish the complete route through the following area. Use the destination and objective shown by your game rather than treating achievement percentages as a level-order guide.

Garage: use the pump objectives to keep track of the machinery

Work by the active objective: open the entry route, supply the pumps, coordinate the crane, and return to the tasks your new Magnetic Grabber can solve. Several machines share this space, so a newly reachable button is more useful than assuming every task forms one straight corridor.

This section reorganizes the community Garage walkthrough, which includes demo-based route guidance. Selected views in whatthevic's Garage recording show the crane controls, pump objectives and a carried battery; they do not independently verify the complete sequence below.

  1. Open the paired entry mechanism. The community route begins with one Grapple handle for each car. Attach to separate handles and pull together, then follow the newly opened cabinet route down to the next section. Regroup before continuing across the machinery.
  2. Treat batteries and pumps as a shared objective. The community guide describes taking batteries from a replicator and bringing them to sockets. Let one player handle the battery while the other identifies its socket and watches the objective. Complete the associated lever step and check which pump the game still asks you to power. Battery and pump checks →
  3. Assign one player to each crane station. Agree on the load and destination before moving the machine. The community solution lowers the suspended part into alignment, attaches the matching piece, and places it in the pickup bed. Use small movements and a clear stop call; do not guess the controls from which side a player is standing on. Crane roles and positioning →
  4. Open the next shared route and return with the right tool. The community article describes a fan control and ramp switch, with some drawer interactions saved until the Magnetic Grabber is available. When the game introduces that tool, revisit the compatible object or blocked route instead of repeating a Grapple action that serves a different purpose. Compare the recorded battery-and-socket task around 12:00 ↗
  5. Place the cogs carefully above the hazardous area. The community route includes a two-cog mechanism later in the Garage. Give each player a clear part and destination, and avoid dropping a cog into the liquid. Follow the current objective after the mechanism and regroup for the synchronization task described at the end of the community route. Cog placement and recovery boundary →

Lost among the pumps? Read which pump remains unfinished, name the socket or lever you are working on, and ask your partner to confirm its response. The video displays separate first-, second- and third-pump objectives; seeing a battery does not by itself tell you which branch is complete.
