What have you finished?
The official Steam achievement list separates four collection goals from listening, playing mini-games and breaking objects. Tick the goals you have completed; untick any you want to revisit.

Your marks are a personal reminder. This checklist does not connect to Steam or read your save. Its goal count is separate from the game's completion percentage.
Tell the different discoveries apart
Memory cards carry recorded conversations, while scannable objects add written notes. Neuro-nodes let you hear Professor Bloom's voice and memories. The developer's story devlog explains how these fragments come together in the Journal for later reading and listening.
Custom parts belong to car customization. The developer's 11 August customization devlog describes collecting wheels, antennas and horns while exploring. Keep those appearance items separate from the gadget abilities you use to get around.
A useful session note: record the area, the type of discovery and a landmark you both recognize. Add what stopped you from reaching it so you can pick up the search together next time. Mark the full category only when the entire goal is done.
What does 100% Mates require?
The official 100% Mates achievement asks you to complete the game fully and find all its collectibles. Checking all seven boxes here does not establish that the game has awarded it.
The same Steam list also includes six named level-completion achievements and five ability-acquisition achievements. Review those separately in Steam, and use our gadget guide for Grapple, Magnetic Grabber, Magnet Wheels, Paintgun and Phase Shifter.

The public achievement descriptions identify the goals, but do not give a per-area item total, an item-location map or a formula for the game's overall completion percentage.

Sources and updates
Collection goals, achievement names, the six level names and five ability names were checked against the 21 public Steam achievements on (UTC). Descriptions of story discoveries come from Devlog 2; customization examples come from the developer's 11 August devlog.
This is a checklist of published completion goals, with our own note-taking suggestions. It does not provide verified item locations, an unlock order or a tested 100% route.
